AGING SOCIETY Among developing countries, average life expectancies tend to hover around 50 years. The greatest happiness for human beings is to live long, healthy lives. Japan, though, with its long life expectancies, will be an extremely aged society in the 21st century. Will Japan be able to build an elderly-friendly society?
