| THE HOLLYWOOD TEN The wave of the red hunts finally reached Hollywood, as people continued to search for communists, "America's enemies." One group of people in the cinema world (the "Hollywood ten") resisted this trend. They ended up losing their jobs and living in great hardship. *One of them was screenwriter Dolton Tolambo. He continued writing but under an assumed name. Later on, he directed Johnny Got his Gun. under his real name. | |
